Equipment Analysis
Tfue is a big fan of the SteelSeries range, with his mouse, keyboard and headset all coming from the brand. That said, it must be noted that SteelSeries is a major sponsor of Faze, the team backing Tfue. In saying so, for an accomplished player to use this particular brand, it speaks of the quality in the product.
Tfue’s Mouse – The SteelSeries Sensei 310 is a great corded mouse with excellent reaction time. It is shaped symmetrically, fits in the hand comfortably and includes quality rubber side grips. This particular SteelSeries has a total of 8 buttons, with 2 side buttons each on the thumb and ring finger resting areaa of the mouse.
Tfue’s Mousepad – Tfue uses the SteelSeries QcK XXL as his mousepad of choice. This is considered a fairly large mousepad with the extremely wide surface allowing for comfortable mouse movement during intensive gameplay.
Tfue’s Keyboard – SteelSeries APEX M750 TKL, a quality mechanical keyboard that is fairly compact as its design exempts the number pad at the side. As part of one of the higher end SteelSeries keyboard products, the SteelSeries Engine software allows for complete customization on the keyboard back lights and key functions.
Tfue’s Headset – The SteelSeries Arctis Pro is certainly a quality piece of audio equipment that SteelSeries offers. It is sold around the $200 mark and offers surrounding sound gaming. The ClearCast mic is also considered top tier for gaming, overall, the headset is a great buy if you want a headset and do not wish to purchase an external mic.
Tfue’s Monitor – Looking at Tfue’s Monitor, his ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q is one of the better ones out there. The specs included are great for gaming, with its 240Hz refresh rate and G Sync technology to reduce motion blur. Aesthetically, the stand is also one of the nicest looking ones in the market, with the screen also having minimal bezels.
