Equipment Analysis
Gotaga’s Mouse – As shown on the equipment Gotaga uses, it is pretty obvious he is a big fan of the SteelSeries range. Given SteelSeries is one of the more popular gaming gear brands that has sponsored esports since 2001, it is no surprise there is a connection between Gotaga and the company.
The SteelSeries Rival 300 mouse is one of the more popular, yet affordable pieces of equipment. It is fairly compact without many unnecessary side buttons. The mouse has great precision, with the contouring nicely designed for a mouse on the more affordable side. It is corded, which improves reaction times, greatly needed for shooter games, such as Call of Duty and Fortnite.
Gotaga’s Mousepad – The SteelSeries mousepad has a non-slip rubber base, and is medium sized, measuring at 320 x 270 x 2mm. This mousepad is essential for any gamer, but especially for FPS players who require a larger than traditional mousepad to gain a wider range without having an unfavourably high mouse sensitivity.
Gotaga’s Keyboard – The SteelSeries Apex M800 is a solid keyboard choice, again, for competitive gaming, it is a corded keyboard. As expected, it is also a mechanical keyboard, making its keys feel much better compared to the traditional keyboard. It is on the pricier end, however, it remain a good buy.
Gotaga’s Headset – Headset wise, the Artics 3 is not anything too spectacular, other than being a solid choice. Considering it is a gaming headset, it has an inbuilt mic. The Artics is available in a range of colours; black, white, red, blue and grey.
Gotaga’s Monitor – Gotaga’s monitor is fairly big, coming in at 24 inches. As expected of a gaming monitor, the position of the screen is easily adjustable for the optimal angle. The monitor is regarded as one of the most popular pieces of equipment in esports, with a wide range of tournaments being hosted with the BenQ.
