Equipment Analysis
OPscT’s Mouse – OPscT’s mouse is also from BenQ, with the Zowie EC2 B. While it is not as popular as the traditional brands such as Logitech and razer, the Zowie EC2 B is still a great mouse. The shape is very similar to the razer deathadder, and can be considered quite a decent upgrade if you are looking to move on from the deathadder.
OPscT’s Mousepad – Looking at his mousepad, it is no surprise he has chosen the Logitech G640 TSM edition, given he is signed with Team SoloMid and Logitech being long time sponsors of the organisation. A great advantage for this mousepad is that it easily rolls up and can be taken anywhere. While some mousepads may lose shape when bent / rolled, the Logitech mousepad was designed to flatten out extremely well.
OPscT’s Keyboard – OPscT’s keyboard of choice is yet another Logitech product, the Logitech G Pro Mechanical Keyboard. While OPscT may be made to use this, it seriously is a quality product given its below market price compared to other keyboards. Depending where you get it, you may even catch it for around the low $100 mark. The corded keyboard is mechanical and extremely compact compared to traditional keyboard due to it not including the number pad at the side.
OPscT’s Headset – While Logitech is closely tied with TSM and offers many great headsets, OPscT has opted for the Sennheiser HD700 as his headset of choice. These headphones are not traditional gaming equipment, instead, focusing on top tier audio quality. As expected of any Sennheiser audio products, the sound is amazing, much better than other gaming headsets. With the headphones being such a premium product, it is no surprise it sold for over half a grand.
OPscT’s Monitor – The BenQ monitor is definitely one of the high end screens you can buy. You can get this monitor for around $500, while it is much more pricey than average, it is well worth it. Not only do you get a 24.5 inch screen, the monitor boasts an amazing 240Hz refresh rate. The side shields also add a further aesthetic look on top of its original function to help the user focus on the screen.
