Equipment Analysis
kioShiMa is sponsored by HyperX, likely the reason he chose two of their items in his gaming set up, the HyperX HX-MPFS-L and the HyperX FPS ALLOY.
kioShiMa’s Monitor – kioShiMa is yet another streamer to use the BenQ XL2540, an extremely popular streaming monitor in the twitch scene. This monitor has been specifically designed for gaming, hence its wide 24.5 inch screen, great refresh rate of 240 Hz and high pixel density of 1920 x 1080.
kioShiMa’s Mouse – The Zowie ec2 designed by BenQ is a quality mouse that has been optimised for gaming. The corded mouse including the spectacular 12,000 DPI sensor allows for great reaction time, an essential factor for any gamer. It is priced fairly average compared to other mice, an overall very solid buy.
kioShiMa’s Mousepad – Looking at the mousepad, the HyperX HX-MPFS-L is a square looking mousepad measuring in at 45 cm by 40 cm with an average thickness of 0.4cm. The surface is finely textured, allowing for any mouse to easily glide across with minimal resistance.
kioShiMa’s Keyboard – The HyperX FPS ALLOY is a keyboard that has been specifically designed for competitive play with its short and compact design. That said, it has sacrificed the side number pad in favour of transportability for competitive matches. As expected of any HyperX gaming product, it has a very solid, nice looking build. The Cherry MX mechanical keys are also one of the best available, allowing for great reaction times between the keyboard and the computer.
kioShiMa’s Headset – Given kioShiMa is sponsored by HyperX and has not opted for their most popular product, their HyperX Cloud ll gaming headset, it speaks the quality of the Sennheiser GAME ZERO. The GAME ZERO is one of few gaming headsets Sennheiser has designed, not only including great audio quality, but also a high end attached mic.
