Equipment Analysis

Rain is quite evidently a fan of the Xtrfy brand, with his mousepad and keyboard coming from them.

rain’s Monitor – BenQ is known for producing high quality monitors, so it is no surprise rain has opted for one of their better products, the Benq XL2411. The XL2411 has been specifically designed for competitive gaming and boasts a 24 inch screen, 240Hz refresh rate and a high pixel density of 1920 x 1080. This is a great buy considering the specs of the monitor and its relatively low price compared to other devices with simular specs.

rain’s Mouse – Considering rain did not choose a SteelSeries mouse given his preference for the brand in general, it speaks the quality of the QPad 8K Optical. This mouse is very unique in its ergonomic design, specifically developed for a five finger grip. While this may not suite everyone, getting comfortable with this mouse will increase manoeuvrability. The sensor on the mouse is also one of the best on the market, which will further improve performance.

rain’s Mousepad – The Xtrfy XGP1-L4 is one of the larger mousepads available, measuring at 46cm x 40cm. The XGP1 is a fairly thick mousepad, with a depth of 0.4cm unlike traditional mousepads with a razer thin height of 0.2 cm. The surface is near frictionless allowing any mouse to easily glide, while the rubber base prevents any movement from the Xtrfy XGP1-L4.

rain’s Keyboard – Rain’s Xtrfy XG1-R LED is a top of the line mechanical keyboard that is quite similar to the Logitech G Pro Mechanical Keyboard. As a keyboard optimised for tournament play, it does not include the number pad at the side, allowing for a smaller product.

rain’s Headset – Headset wise, the Sennheiser PC 363D is one of the, if not the most popular headsets Sennheiser offers. It is one of the more affordable headphones as a Sennheiser product. The PC 363D is extremely light weight compared to other headsets and packs one of the best mics in gaming.
